Man, I called Woodlands Mini and talked to Debbie. She told me that they would charge me 500.00 to install these lights on my car…I Said no I already have the lights I just need the a price on the labor for you to install..And she said that is the price for labor…She said the book says 4hrs… . That is just totatly rediculous i told her. So anyway I was hoping to find someone here that would like to make a little extra money by installing these for me…I was hoping to get them installed for 100.00 Now i knew the dealer would be more but just wasnt expecting such a total rearend job…. here is the link to the exact lights i bought…

If you don't want to go to a dealer, or one of the other garages our members recommend, I have two suggestions–one would be to offer one of our readers some money to install them for you. A second suggestion would be to talk Jeff into having another tech session, like we had a couple of months ago, or to see if someone else would like to sponsor one.
Obviously, a third would be to bite the bullet and install them yourself. Weren't there instructions in the box?

Zippeee!'s an '07 R56 MCS, delivered in February, 2007–one of the first in the country! We now have over 59,000 miles together. Yikes! That's a lot for someone who works out of her home–must be a bunch of pure motoring.

Yes there is instructions…But Iam just not good with the Wire thing on mods…And the dealer is out of the question i would let the lights get cobwebs in the closet before i pay them overpriced mechanics to install for me..

Well, you've just run up against the brick wall of paying for knowledge. There are other places to go besides dealers, some of whom have been discussed on the site. They'll have cheaper shop rates, but you'll just have to bite the bullet unless you make friends with someone in the club. Perhaps if you come to the next meeting (August 7), you'll meet someone who can help, for pay or for a 6-pack.

If youre ever on the woodlands/spring side of town i can help you out. I wired in my alta rally light bar myself. all you need is a relay, a switch, and some wire. the wiring (at least on the r53) was the easy part; drilling the holes and what not ended up taking me 6 hours.
