    Hey this sounds like a great event. I will definitely be there for some good fun and food! The last two months I have been busy with the honey-do list; so it will be nice to get out of the house again :) See you there.

    I plan to be at the HMMS meeting. I have to leave shortly before noon though to get back down to MINI of Clear Lake. Anyone who wants to follow with me are welcome.     Excellent meeting today! Lots of new members, and returning “long-time-no-see” members! I told the manager we’d love to come again. What do the rest of you think?

    Good Meeting – I like the restaurant, the location in central Houston was ideal, we had MINIacs from all over the city, lets put this on the list of “keepers”.

    Great place, good food, wonderful meeting. I thought we had a great discussion around technical issues which I always find enjoyable.

    Ron – could you please send me those pictures that you have of the control arm bushings, ball joints, etc? Would really like to have those. I gave you my email address but if you need it again let me know. Thanks – Avelino

    I was pleased with it, too. A little warm at first, but that’s probably only because I was on the “hot seat,” and it was promptly corrected when I asked. The only problem I see is getting the room because of the usual 1st Saturday club that uses it, but I’m sure we can work that out with the manager. I like the location, too.

    The August meeting will probably be somewhere on the north end of the world because of the drive. John’s checking out a place he noticed that would be ideal, but I’d be happy to go back in September.

    Your MINI is a Gen 1 and this is a Gen 2 — But I understand they are the same except for how the steering linkage disconnects.
