Excellent. My wife and I will be at the meeting (or at least I will be there) and either I or both of us will be at the beach on the 25th. Look forward to seeing everyone again at both locations.

Agit8r,
Because it's early, and people are coming from all around town, we usually meet at the State Park. Afterwards, we usually motor together to lunch. If you can make our next meeting on the 11th, I think the plan is to sort out all the details at that time. In any case, they will be posted within 48 hrs after the meeting.

Hope you can make it (to the meeting and to the beach)!

So are we meeting somewhere in Houston and driving down to Galveston together, or just meeting down there on the seawall? I get off work that morning at 6:30, so meeting up with everyone going will not be an issue, whether we meet locally or in Galveston. My wife might be able to make it as well, just depends on how she feels that morning. I voted one going for sure though.

Hey guys, sorry for taking so long to send a reply regarding the run. Been at work today and rather busy. Anyhow, I just wanted to thank you all for making me feel so welcome on my first drive with you. I can assure you, you haven't seen the last of me. I'll be at every meeting, run, event, etc. that I can make it off work for.

That said, I've confirmed that I am off work for the Sept. 11th meeting in Midtown. I and my wife plan to attend. We are looking forward to getting together again with you all.

Thanks again for letting me tag along yesterday. It was a run that will not be soon forgotten.

Hey All:

Thanks for the nice comments - we had a blast! Special thanks to Kerri at the Monaville General store for the food and especially the pies--super yummy.

We had 14 MINI's and one BMW (glad you could join us Doug & Iris) what a great turnout! From the lead car it was exciting to see the seemingly endless line of MINIs in the rear view mirror. In some of the tighter twisty bits you could see the last car in line and all the one's behind you.

Thanks to Rick and Ron for posting pictures. The photo op pictures will be sent to out to our VP for posting once I've had a chance to look at them on my office computer.

Look forward to seeing everyone at the next meeting.

Gretchen and I had lots-o-fun!. Good seeing everyone again. I especially liked the areas with the tall pines and rolling hills and beautiful estates and farms along the road.

Nice shots Rick!

The Swanks did it again..... as usual; a very well planned run. Enjoyed it very much. Thank You both.

LOL - I tailed Andy and learned a few tricks watching him set up those curves, besides that I also learned that it is actually quite fun staying in the back keeping up with John.
