We’ll caravan from the IHOP in Cypress (26289 U.S. 290, Cypress, TX 77429) starting at 9:00 am. That will get us at the park by 11:45 am.

Bob, so far a small group for the meeting, but more may show up on Sat. Not everyone rsvp’s for the meetings. Several people will be gone. Kris has a wedding in IN, and a couple of people left for MOTD.

On Facebook, so far only seven people have said they are going to the meeting. I’ll try to drum up some more “customers”, and see who is interested in the drive. At least Gretchen and I are. It may be Scooper’s last club outing!

Hey All:

Ellen and I drove the route last Sunday. Very nice. I’ve shortened the route back to 45 miles, and I think this is more “day friendly”. After the meeting and the drive you will still have time for yard work, shopping, etc.

I don’t know if it is possible to get a head count on both the meeting, and the drive—-or does all that have to be done on facebook?

Hey All:

Only 7 of us were at the beach clean-up–but we were 7 fiesty souls. The weather was brisk, but we had a good time, and the lunch at Star Drug Store was great.

No one has planned a group drive to Galveston. You could start one! I won’t be there, and Gretchen is leaving earlier since she will be checking-in the club in-town before everyone meets up at the park at 9 am.

Hey All;

Unfortunately the miniature trains only run the third Saturday of each month, so we will end at Zube Park. Zube has clean toilet facilities, and water fountains.
